I am thinking about changing the look of my Sky hunter by getting rid of the takedown knobs.

Rod Jenkins said I could get some new ones no problem and that seems reasonable, but went to look over at Bingham and they are kinda pricey for a dang bolt.

Anyone know another source? I really think I just need the washer type dealie that the bolt sets in, should just be a hex head trumpet bolt, huh?

And where is Rod Jenkins at? I miss his posts and input. He's a dang IBO champ, don't ya know?

Would the Sky make a straight bolt down warfer or better to do the ILF conversion. Just curious.

If you want limb bolts and the black aluminum bezels check with a bow shop, all compounds use them and they should have a lot of them lying around.

The bolt down type limb hold down versus the ILF fitting is sorta like flipping a coin. With the solid bolt down you loose any limb weight adjustment unless you use shims to change the weight or tiller, with the ILF system your get limb adjustability, noise and floppy limbs when unstrung, both can be done to most risers....warf

Glynn,
You can buy countersunk 5/16-18 bolts at any good hardware store. The swiveling washers are available from MSC under the "work holding" section. If the bolt meets the limb fairly square, you can just use a button head bolt. I've got polyurethane washers, bolts, offset washers, and just about everything else. I'd be glad to help you. Frankly though, I agree with Bob, that giving up the adjustability seems a shame!
