Oh dang it! all these years I have been leaving the best part of the pig.
Last week I eat with some friends. we had pork neck bones. Neck bones suck :) they are a finger food that ya have to get up close and personal with when ya eat them. I'll never leave the neck on the woods again.
Ya got recipes for neck bones that ya particularly relish?

Deer neck bone? Crock pot. 1-1/2 lbs of meat in the crock pot. pour a pack of oinion soup mix over the meat. Add a large diced onion, then pour the entire contents of a bottle of heinz chili sauce over it all. cook on hi for 2 hours then finish on low. stir occasionally check for tenderness.

Cook neck bones in a crock pot with 1/4 cup mollasses, 1 cup water. Cook all day. 3 hours before you a ready to eat, add 3 cans pinto or black beans. Serve over rice. You can eat the beans and rice with a fork, the neck bones, well you know.....

Thanks, it is our fav. My Grandpa got it from somewhere, probably out of a Crock Pot cook book and switched the beef for venison.

The deer recipe sound good. I hate to admit it but Texas white tail is not high on my favorite meats. I usually flavor it with something. Your crock fixings sounds just the ticket for me.
