Confession is good for the soul. Here is tonight's grouping, showing an average round of 8 shots from 15 yards. I have a stick shoved in the target to provide a target.
Low and left is the first arrow of the group. The high flier was a loss of concentration that I knew the instant I threw it away.

One more shot, containing a glimpse of my warfer.

Those center-shot Warfers group arrows like guided missiles, huh?
I enjoy seeing pics like that... even with the flyers, a very satisified feeling. Better back-up some now Esq., or you're gonna ruin some arrows!
Looks like you've got her tuned pretty good. Thanks for sharing... :)

Piney,
That's the thing about this warfbow. I put on the plunger button, (eyeballed it). Set the nock a tad high, and started shooting. I have done nothing to tune the bow. I have not bareshafted or papertested. I did shoot at 30 yards and got similar results, not quite as tight. But the arrows enter the target looking the same.
Either this bow tuned itself, or I got lucky! I do plan to take some tuning steps, I just haven't yet.

Esquire...Those warfers are self tuning didn't I tell you?...LOL...Nice shooting, would not care to be a whitetail that get's to close to you this fall, could be a bit dangerous....warf

Bob,
Thanks. I'm aggravated by the flyers. I'll post a pic of some 25 yard groups I shot tonight. It's "pie plate accuracy" (NOT satisfactory to me) but I want 4" groups at 30 yds., minimum. This is like weighing in on the weight loss deal. Post my early groups so I can look back in a few months, after some tuning and practice.

I figure I will post these so that no one will be under any illusions about my lack of expertise with this new bow. I am definitely the weakest link in the warf equipment!

This is my second round from 25 yards.

This shows my stubborn refusal to improve from a distance of 25 yards. :)

Why 46? Just happened to be what it was when I stepped it off, after the fact. I shot several rounds from 46 yards - this was my best group. Whew! Different story then from 15 yards! This is about my point on. This was shooting my Warf bow - around 55 lbs. Beman ICS field 400 with 100 grain field tips. Arrows are full length, I have taken no steps to tune the bow and do not have a stabilizer on it. Shooting 3 finger split, anchoring middle finger in the corner of my mouth. Now I will look back on this thread in a few months and have a basis for comparison, to measure progress.
BTW, the tape makes a "circle" about 8" across.
