Hello, I got this baby in a trade with SAM, and I got to shoot it some today.
60", 44# @ 27", so it should be 46-47# at my 28" DL plus/minus.....
I didn't scale it yet, just shot it with several diff arrows.
I shot it with CE Medallion 550's, some Victory NanoForce 600's, both with light nibs, and some AXIS 500's with 125 Magnus 2-blade bh's.
I'm guessing my hard foam block target is 10" deep, and it was putting bh's out the other side 3 inches or so.
I do not think my 53# longbow was shooting this hard with same bh arrows.
I am really liking this bow.......
TOP limb has Michigan Bow Hunters sticker/symbol in / under the finish.
IS there a story to this?
See pics, and if you can identify the woods, please do?
Birds-eye maple riser? Some kind of maple? What are limbs?
Thanks, in advance......Thanks SAM, too......

It looks like Xmas came early for you. A very nice acquisition indeed. Mr. Fedora told me that design on the front of the riser is an inlay that stiffens the wood. I do not know the material. I will study the splotches and get back to you on the wood types.

This is fun.

Steve.

Nice bow. I have two fedora recurves and love them. They are fast bows and really pack a punch. Congratulations on your new bow.

I love my DAS bows....But I really love my Fedoras'! The Fedora TD that I killed a charging black bear with, I expect I'll keep until my last day of God's green earth. :) [then I'll give it to my son and make him promise to do the same! :) :) :) ]
