View Full Version : Suggestions for the Tee-Shirt logo/grapics

Let's get the tee-shirt project underway, guys. First things first. Let's put our heads together and decide what we want for logo/graphics. It could be the Super-Five that is our current logo, something with just text, some other graphic you might have in mind. All suggestions welcome. I want to try to get that set by the end of the week.

Additionally, comments regarding style of tee-shirt, color and material are welcomed, too. I want to provide the highest quality shirt we can reasonably afford. The group buying power should help keep the price down for very good shirts, so let's hear what you'd like to have!

:thankyou:

Mornin' Bull -

Kinda like the idea of keeping it simple, too. The super-five is a good idea, but just the word "TradTalk" in the upper left corner would work too. How about "TradTalk" over an NFAA or FITA face, wouldn't that send a message about who we are?

White used to be the international color for archery, don't know if it is anymore, but that would work. I prefer to shoot in fairly thick Tees, helps keep the material out of the bowstings way.

Sorry, didn't know (or can't remember :( )about the ones TB4U has, got a picture?

could you use someting like this with TradTalk inside where the other stuff is
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y16/mysticguido/tanj.jpg. A traditional Broadhead with TradTalk inside it would look nice I think.

I like pockets with logo and something on the back. What do you have now in large? I will add it to my string order if you have one. thanks

I think either white or black would be nice. I'm kind of a black fan. I also think the logo should say something about who we are and distingiush us from the other trad groups. We are a group with our feet in the past and our head in the future. Most of the trad groups are not as progressive. I like Mysticguido's idea about the arrowhead shield, but I would loose the flint knapped head in favor of a real razorhead outline. I'd also prefer something that isn't a huge graphic, but more elegant.

my two cents :)

Love the idea of a knapped arrowhead. It's a universal image.

I have to side with DAS about the arrow head. Combine that with the deer silhouette and we are just like all the other sites.

Now I have to disagree with DAS (LOL) about black. Here in the desert it would give me heat stroke! Now you wouldn't want that on your conscience, would you DAS????

I would favor keeping it simple with just words but if you want a logo, what about two crossed arrows: one with 5" fletching and a broadhead and the other with smaller vanes and a target point - reflect the wide range of view points represented here.

$.02 worth, Dave

How about a grey option? White shows dirt, gotta look nice in our trad Tees. :) Black is too hot for the humidity and heat here in the summer months.

I wouldn't want anyone stroking out on my account! Up here in Oregon we wear black and lay in the sun to collect those thin rays. Hey, gray is fine .......I'll just turn the heat up! LOL!

Simple is better words would be better than a bunch of ugly guys pictures on my shirt. Any color but pink.

TB$U has enough pink shirts to last a lifetime.

Less is more I say (Simple).

I have Photoshop on my home computer and Marketing has been my job for 13 years. I would gladly volunteer my time to design something. What is the goal of the T-Shirt? Is this a viral marketing strategy for Tradtalk?

Tell me more about the shirt......must have missed the info on it.

Oh.....one more thing. I love to shoot bows, love deer and love bowhunting (been doing it for 15 years), but I am so sick of seeing deer plastered all over a shirt. Not a great look. :2cents:

The design for our current t-shirts will be posted as soon as I can, Hopefully Later tonight. Its very similar to the Super Five Photo on the link, cept less fat guys. We have a whole lot of colors to choose from as long as you like gray with a black logo (except those of you with converted Gamemasters, y'all get pink tye dye). LOL. Prices will be posted by Big Papa Bull very soon. Thank you for your consideration. Mike. :)

The logo appears on the front of the shirt minus the www. part, the Back of the shirt features the Full logo. We use first grade t-shirts for these guys. Top quality. And at the price robert is sellin them for, they are a bargain.

Hank,

Excellent idea. I like it. The other one that tickles me is from our friends in Europe...Arco Nudo!

If those shirts are available, tells us sizes, prices and where we send the money.

I like the idea of keeping the Trad Talk Logo from the website. (with or without the athletic archers!) and have the web address underneath.
We can then look good while advertising the site and people will recognise that they have reached the site when they see the logo.

Maybe put the logo on the left breast in the usual place and have a slogan on the back.
For example

KEEPING IT REAL
KEEPING IT TRADITIONAL

How about a Polo shirt instead of a Tee shirt? They may be a couple of bucks more but they tend to last longer and look a lot smarter.

Keep it simple and to the point. We are Tradtalk. The best Archery site on the web. Papabull what we got in stock? :sbrug:

I second the motion for the polo shirt idea....i was never big on tees....i don't like anything up around my neck. (the EX already has a noose waiting for me!)lol

Guys,
Here is an actual photo of the t shirt. We need to keep them simple for now, as we have already paid for the setup fees and graphic design. But all of your opinions ARE being duly noted, and they are APPRECIATED.

P.S. With the screen print I dont know how well it would look on the Polo type shirt material. Maybe embroidery would be a solution down the road, but its not very cost friendly, and there are minimum orders.

TB4U, I like the shirt you just displayed. And, since I have to keep score, for the group I shoot with on 3D courses, I need the pocket for my GLASSES and a pen. (grin) So the pocket is important to me. Unless I am mistaken, the screen can be the property of TradTalk once the first run is made. So a second run later might accomdate everyone.

TB4U -

That probelm I have with that, is that it turns us into walking billboards. The same logo over the left chest would be perfect.

Note on the polos. As they usually have pockets, might not be the greatest to shoot in. The pocket material always seems to snag the string when I shoot.

Viper please keep in mind that these are shirts that have been sold here in the past, and were selected and approved by robert and lumis prior to its sale last year.

That fine, but seeing as we're moving forward, might want to look at all options. Purpose of the exercise is to share opinions, see how we want to proceed.

Shrink the website address a hair. It should be Trad Talk as the largest.....then the tag line......then the web site address as the smallest.
