Well guys I got to try out my BH,s on Sat.....blew thru an 8 pt from 23 yrds like a hot knife thru butter. While he,s not my biggest buck he is my biggest with trad gear and I got to take him with a head of my own makeing which I found to be sweet. He covered maybe 100 yrds leaving an easy trail to follow.
Seems to me that extra 5 yrds of range is kinda handy :)
Need to see some pictures here Swampy. Congratulations.

I only got pics on a disposable in the field and almost didn,t get them since my buddy and I decided to bone this one out on the spot vs drag it.Had him 1/2 skun with our clean table(inside of hide) opened up when my buddy says "what about pictures" LOL oops had ta flop the hide back over him and take pics from the other side.
maybe I can find somebody with a scanner after I get the film developed.
Many know that I seem ta have trouble with the pic,s on line thing and have others do the posting of pics for me :sbrug: some day I,ll get it worked out.
There are pics of my BH,s on the main formum someplace maybe a page or 2 back

...I have decided to come out of retirement and start a new career. I will be field testing prototype broadheads for manufacturers. I do not charge a lot and will be happy to add some of your heads to my professional hunting forays. Whadaya think? :) :)
Swampy, Cool!!
I don't doubt your broadhead did a great job. Congratulations!

Congrats, Swampy! I always felt having a 25 or 30 yard shot in my back pocket was a handy thing to take with me afield even though it's not been often I've actually needed it.
Good shooting and congratulations on the success of your broadhead, too.

Swampy,
Congratulations. I don't know how to post pics on this site, but here is what I do know: when you take your disp camera to get developed @ Walmart (if there is one in the area) you can get them put on disk for about $1 or $2. Then you can download that on your computer, or email them to a friend. It is also a good way to keep track of your pics. You can store them in a fireproof safe and have back ups for your pics.
