Got a few questions from a newbie....Namely me!
1) I will be getting a Quinn Stallion after the holidays, I am going for a 40#er. Will my Easton Aluminum 1816's shoot well in this bow, or do I need new arrows?
2) My Ben Pearson Mustang has developed a small crack in the limb tip, anyone know how to repair this and the cost of said repair?
3) Is my B.P. gonna blow up if I use it anymore?

Thank you in advance

1816s depends on your draw length
If the crack is near the string groove I would certanly get it fixed before shooting it again. Is the crack in the glass or a tip overlay?

"1816s depends on your draw length" My DL is 28 inches, I have them cut to 29 for broadhead use.

"If the crack is near the string groove I would certanly get it fixed before shooting it again." It is about 1/4 behing the groove. Looking in to getting it repaired.

"Is the crack in the glass or a tip overlay?" It is in the overlay itself. The overlays are wood.

The overlay can be ground off and a new one put on. You might try some thin CA glue and let it wick down in the crack. It is amazing stuff. Just tape over where you dont want glue. Go to O Ls sight on tuning your bow. I am guessing those arrows may be a little weak.

W.A., with no more than 100gr points your 1816 might be right on the edge of acceptable. I'd try them before investing in new arrows.

I'll have to give them a fling as soon as I get the Stallion. If nothing else, I can save them to use with my B.P. after repairs are done.
