After much thought, testing, and advise I have come to the conclution that 3 under is a more accurate way of shooting (for me ).......however I am finding it difficult to find a consistent anchor point.
Where do you 3 under gurus anchor?
Also...... where can I get a good 3 under tab?

Hi Stickum,
I am by no means a Guru, but I can tell you what works for me. I picture the cock feather as a rear peep sight and the field tip as the post on the front of my "rifle". By using the old "Apple on a fence post" for my sight picture, it places my hand on the cheekbone in the same place. When I do it right, it looks and feels great. I just have to be sure I allow a count of two. (1,2) to allow my bow hand to settle once I hit my spot.
But, you will still have to work out what works for you. Everyone you read about, or watch will do something slightly different. What works for you is what your looking for.

I use the index finger on a tooth. But I hook the string about one nock width below the nock (I have a tie on nockset tied so I can slide up to it) so that the arrow is a little bit higher than it would be otherwise. When I am at anchor, the cock feather touches the crest of my nose.
Rick Welch shoots three under, and touches the cock feather to his nose. I think he also puts the web of his thumb and index finger in the corner of his jaw, or something like that to get a double anchor.
You just have to try a number of things until you discover one that seems to work well for you. Hang in there.

I really like the Black Widow 3 under tab. The 'finger fender' is a nice feature that I believe helps loose the arrow in a cleaner manner.
The finger loop is adjustable so I can wear it with a light glove in cooler weather. I don't care for tabs with the finger hole.
Ordered mine from 3Rivers.
Luck to ya.

I use the double anchor recommended by Welch as well. My forefinger and thumb kind of lock around my jaw and then I touch the feather to the tip of my nose. I overdraw slightly then creep forward to lock in and pull till the feather touches the tip of my nose like a clicker. When executed properly it works really well for me. My hold time is probably between 2 and 4 sec. If you try this method you may have to play with fetching location on the shaft.

Like Cato and Scooter, I have also used the cock feather. However, for me, the 5" paraboloic feathers don't work. When I use Shield cut feathers it works. I really should work with not only the position, as already suggested, but feather type, to get that second "touch".

Im using my index finger on the upper canine tooth for an anchor pt. You could anchor just about anywhere as long as its comfortable. For instance, using my middle finger at the same location doesnt feel right, I dont like the nock that much closer to my eye and if Im shooting with my sunglasses on, it interferes. The idea of using a tooth on the upper jaw was one of Byron Fergusons, it doesnt vary like a lower jaw tooth could.
