Here is some food for thought for you guys.

www.leangains.com

www.fast-5.com

www.johnbarban.com

I follow the Fast-5 approach, as I don't want to have to follow alot of guidelines, but if I really wanted to get super lean, I'd follow the leangains approach.

I fasted all day today. Shot my bow 2 times today for about an hour each time. This evening I did Clean and Press and Dumbell rows fasted. After my workout I ate the following:

16oz sirloin(raised by me!)
2 baked potatoes
3 or 4 cups of watermelon
1.5 cup of blueberries and strawberries w/ 2 cups of cottage cheese
1 big soup spoon of cod liver oil
3 digestive enzymes

I'm ready for some good deep sleep now!

What brand and where do you get your Cod liver oil?

Free range,
I like to use the high vitamin kinds of Cod Liver Oil. Problem is that the majority of them are outrageous and I simply don't have the money to purchase those brands. For my best bang for the buck has been Garden of Life Old Icelandic Cod Liver Oil. I buy it from www.vitaglo.com

I've used Carlsons too in the past, but I prefer Garden of Life.

Very interesting information, I like hearing idea's where after you sit and think about it for a while, they make even more sense. I.F. would fit into that category. I like to drink a black coffee during my waking hours, while doing some yoga type stretching, and a bit of muscle toning exercise. Nothing strenuous, just a good body awakening routine 20 minutes or so. Then later in the morning I have a grain and fruit breakfast for normal day's, High activity or weight training days I get eggs toast and 1 strip of bacon. Lunch is my big fat and calorie meal for the day. That is because I have many hours left to burn and process a heavy meal. Dinner is always small, simple and early, before 6.
This diet and schedule make my body feel good, break the schedule, or pig out on a heavy dinner, and I will suffer, as I should expect to. My body thrives on steady healthy careful schedule. It rebells quickly to feasting or even sedentary life style changes. Thanks for some good food for thought.
What we feed into our brains may be as important as what we allow into our bodies. we wouldn't ingest toxic waste on purpose, yet we will allow horrible images, and trash into our minds, all in the name of entertainment.. Not for me.. I only take in what I need to maintain a healthy mind body and spirit..
