Thanks guys. (Boho - you got it!) It is fair to say that a good time was had by all, last weekend!

My 7 year old (yellow shirt) won braggin rights with the most fish that night. It's hard to beat a fish on a hook for bringing a smile to a boy's face!

(John, I don't mind at all).

A freindly word of advice about kids fishing.DO NOT take them to a commercial trout pond!

My little girl wanted to catch a trout while we were on vacation in the mountains one year.I found out you could not release the fish and payed by the pound for what you caught. She had 3 rainbow trout that cost me $58 before I could get the rod out of her hands.

The bad thing is I don't even eat slimy trout. They remind me of a bait fish and taste about like one. :p

Oh James you just aint ate it at my house yet. I'll choose trout to eat over a warm water fish (except maybe bluegill or crappie) any day.

Mike,

Crickets, kids, and panfish. Boy thats a hard combo to beat.

Last night I took the older ones camping. Same pond - different time of day!

This morning's breakfast was well earne, and eagerly anticipated - (not me in the picture). We rolled out of the tent this morning and as my oldest watered the base of a tree, a turkey exploded from the top of it!
