I just came in from shooting my Pearson Predator.. :) ...I didn't do great, but I didn't miss any either! not bad for a first shot in about 15 years.
I have this 4X8' sheet of sytrofoam....8" thick. worked great as a basic target. the snow is on it's way out...today was a great day to be outside.
I'm shooting off the shelf with GameGetters 2115's/125gr. field pts. with 29.5"arrow length(1/2" past my knuckles). Arrow flite was pretty good, with some flyers, but that may be operator error. These arrows came from the local bowshop, but I'm not sure I trust his word. Seemed a little dismissive if you know what I mean. HE shhot competitive mostly, doesn't hunt...but stocks hunting bows/accesories for the clientele I suppose. Anybody see anything wrong with this setup? I feel the arrows are a bit lite. :shooting:

You're making me feel guilty. I'm in OH but have only shot outside once--worked the honey do list today, even though the weather was pretty nice. Sounds like your enjoying it--have fun!

Yeh, It Was A Great Start...we May Still Get Some Snow, Before It Completely Goes ( "poor Man's Fertilizer") I Couldn't Wait Any Longer...had To Get At It!

While Practicing, I Found I Was Rushing The Shots. Could Be That I Was Anxious, Since I Haven't Shot Recurve In 20 Years! I Realize That I Wouldn't Be Holding Like In Wheelie Bows. Maybe I'll Slow Down Tommorow...yes, I'll Be Shooting Tomorrow Too!!!!!!!!

HI CATO...I'M SHOOTING 47# AT 27" DRAW LENGTH...THAT'S MEASURED TO THE SADDLE OF GRIP. YUP....DACRON ENDLESS LOOP. I'LL BE SWITCHIN' TO FLEMISH BEFORE LONG THO. THIS STRING DOESN'T GIVE PROPER BRACE HT. ALMOST 3/4" SHALLOW. COULD I TWIST THIS STRING TO GAIN BRACE???
