Just got home from our deer camp. lots of trees to clean up and work got done but still alot left to do. but I found a persimmon tree that is absolutely loaded . quite a few on the ground now but mostly from the wind. but still a ton left in the tree. if all goes as planned, I'll post plenty of pics. :)

It will be awhile before the persimmons are ripe and falling on their own. Glad to see you have weatherd the storm ok, BOHO :)
Sounds like that will be a good spot for a stand!!!

I will be going down Sunday to get some loc ons set up and clean off some of my trees I'll climb with my climber. Then all I have to do come opening week is just go in and hunt. I just hope I can get lucky and kill one early. I haven't ever been able to do it but there' a first time for eerything. Anybody had any success yet?

Man that's great. I remember seeing it but don't remember if I posted or not. My poor mind. :help: Way to go Lambow.

Some of these guys sure do get a headstart on the rest of us, huh?

But then, they have to deal with the gunners coming in rather early. I'd be very unhappy with that... have always lived in states where the bowhunter is king of the woods well into November before others are allowed. :)

So what's your specific setup this year, Tom? I know you've got that speedster that Mike built for ya... what goes along with it?
