Anybody tried this stuff? I did a post on AT and there were many positive responses so I went ahead and bought a set of long johns and long sleeve shirt and socks. Looks to be good stuff.
This uses the silver fiber technology to eliminate bacteria that causes odor on the surface of the skin as well as regulate heat. I've not used the set yet as I have a few weeks before deer season opens but I have some anecdotal evidence that suggest there may be something to it.
I recently ran a race wearing a high end under armor shirt that is made with silver fiber technology. It was 85° and very humid and I sweat a lot so the shirt was soaked. After the race I took the shirt off and tossed it in the back of my SUV and forgot about it for a day or so. Well when I pulled it out it still smelled like it just came out of the wash, I even had my wife double check it (she used to strange requests from me). Now I know my nose is not a deer's nose, but that was encouraging that the shirt didn't have any noticeable odor. I also know I'm not going to completely eliminate odor when hunting, but I try to do everything I can to minimize it as much as possible. As the season goes on I'll try to update on how this stuff works.
