Any of you guys ever use one? They claim you can sleep in it too!

I haven't seen one in years. Do they still make them?
The concept was good just hard to find the right set of trees sometimes, which will limit your hunting set up.

I thought they died off with the old Baker tree stand..

www.trophylineusa.com, I think that will get you there. Looks really slick.

I use the tree suit and love it. With the recliner strap you could sleep in it with no problem. I like the stiff seat that doesn't allow the straps to cut into you.

I've got a sneaky sak I used bought and used for the first time late last season (similar concept). It was nice and opens up some interesting opportunities. I maxed out at about 3 hours in it. I intend to try it a little more this year as well. I like the fact that I can set up a tree to hunt in on public land and have it ready to go without being readily obvious or just do a walk in and hunt if needed. I can fit mine and ten fold up steps, bow hanger and tow rope in a fanny pack. That tree saddle looks a little more comfy for extended sits.

I have heard lots of good things about the tree suit but I haven't heard much about this one.

Pete, how is it to shoot from? Any limitations?

I have a treesuit that I hunt with.Like anything else there is a learning curve to getting the most from it.The right hand shot for a righthand shooter is a little tricky and can best be overcome by being able to shoot with a vertical bow.You will need to practice shooting from it because of the position of your footing. It is not the same as standing on a platform and shooting. jmo

What James said about shooting to your dominant side. However, I find it easier than a conventional stand to shoot from 12 to 8 o'clock if 12 is facing the tree. (I am left handed) Because I just lean into the tree suit away from the tree. I have been using their foot climber as a platform and it works pretty good. I am going to try out my lone wolf climbing sticks with a strap on with three steps on the same strap as a base as soon as I can pick some up. The only limitation I have found is that if you put it on the same slick bark tree more than a couple of times it may slip as the strap tends to polish the tree bark. But I didn't have a problem with the bark the first three times or so.

Thanks guys, just ordered a tree suit yesterday. Even if I can't shoot out of it, I can at least catch up on sleep! Jim at Back to Basics Bowhunting told me to get 4 of the EZY Hang tree steps and mount them on a ratchet type motorcycle tie down and use that at the top. Got the recliner strap also, may as well be comfortable if you're catching some ZZZZ's. I'll also give my unbiased report after season. I'll be getting the Lone Wolf climbing sticks also. Heck the kids are hungery all the time, whats a few more days of belly achin.

I use 3 steps on a single strap that comes with the steps. It works fine without a ratchet strap if you had rather go that way.I have walked it pretty hard and it has held good and tight.
I finally shot out of mine some today with the DAS.The right hand, around the tree shot I had trouble with last year with my longbow is a piece of cake with the shorter bow that I can shoot upright.:) I rigged up something simular to the treesuit that I use more often. It is my redneck version of a cross between treesuit, treesaddle and death trap all rolled into one.

Got the treesuit last Tuesday and have been getting up early in the morning to watch the video that comes with it. There is a learning curve for sure, lots of backing it up, pausing the video. Still haven't made even a dry run with it yet, maybe I'm just dense. Hope I catch on soon, I miss watching Barney.

Take the tree suit and practice on a tree in the yard at ground level. You can run in and check things out on the video rather quickly.
