I hate to admit it, but of all the politicians from my great home commonwealth, the PRM, Barney is one of the few I respect. He's been going after the scumbag executives who have been manipulating companies so they get all the profits, while screwing employees and shareholders alike. Most of Congress is too busy feeding at the pork barrel to do much.
I like him a lot better that Kennedy, Kerry, Olver, Neal and the rest of the imbeciles. He may be a dandy and a queer, but he's looking out for Joe Average where too many are not.

Regardless of the who was right about the quality of the proposed law, Frank was right about the interviewer asking questions based on unshared assumptions and then interrupting as Frank pointed out the unfairness of the questions.
Frank looks and sounds like a clown, but that doesnt mean interviewers can cheat to get across their own biased message.

DanaC,
Come on, man, you MA voters can do much better than Frank, Kennedy, Kerry, etc.!
Barney's poor judgment/negligence in the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac crisis, not to mention the huge campaign contributions he received from these organizations and conflict of interest, should make him unfit for public office. Even worse, he's still on the Financial Services Committee - what the heck can we possibly be thinking?!
It's just incredible that despite all of this, the people of MA keep re-electing him! Barney Frank is the poster child for what's wrong with our federal government. Please help your country and stop re-electing this bum.

Naw we aren’t a fascist state, couldn’t be, government officials don’t run private industries. Barney is a pig that needs to be gutted, just in case big brother is reading, gutted in the political sense.

There is no way any reasonable assessment of Frank's fiduciary performance would conclude he helped anyone except privileged political appointees. Certainly no champion of any average Joe to whom he sent the bill for his personal as well as professional indiscretions. That is a matter of record.

Re Dave H -""DanaC,

Unfortunately, we can't! You ought'a see the morons, imbeciles and pin-heads we reject!
Heck, we've imported outsiders for years just so we can have a marginally competent governor. The former state speaker is facing federal corruption charges, and it doesn't even make page 1 of the local papers. Business as usual.
Sometimes I think us folks in the western half of the state ought to secede from Greater Boston.

Ok, I think I got this. Is Ann Coulter a big truck because she's tall? I already have a toyota tacoma :)

Never thought of it, I suppose I don't evaluate the looks of other men as closely as some here :)

And yet, you have such a perspective as to what an undernourished transvestite looks like.

(I say this in the light and spurious vein to which the thread has headed.)
Learning to quickly recognize transvestites is the unpleasant and unavoidable consequence of happily noticing women.

They trick me for a second, until I come within 100 yards, and then stick them in the 'Mann Coulter' category :)
