Hi I am new here.I bought one of your warf bows with a bear black bear riser from esquire and its a great shooting bow my question for you is my boss has a bear brown bear with a wood riser that was signed by fred bear and he want to know if it is warfable.and what needs to be done if it is able to be done.thanks

I haven't seen one of those wood risered Brown Bear compounds for a long time but if I remember the pocket angle is pretty steep for ILF limbs. What you need is a limb pocket angle from 15 degrees to a max of about 19 degrees to work well with ILF type limbs, the angle of the pockets can be measured fairly close with a grade school plastic protractor to give you a rough idea of what you have...The limb pocket angle is about the most critical part in finding a riser that is warfable...warf
