Interesting Take on Stringwalking

Even though I am a face walker, I have found myself recommending string walking to a number of barebow beginners, both at the range and on a couple archery boards. It is much easier to explain and understand than my self made face walking/point of aim technique.

I am going to shoot with an old friend who has given up on the recurve and show him what the string walking thing is---- I told him it will likely get him fired up about the recurve again when he see's how easy it is to actually hit what you want and that his compound will likely gather some dust.

I think it is hard for compound shooters to switch (back) to the recurve without a solid plan for consistant accuracy (even if that distance is shorter).
