Lets see your gift. I can post us some more pic's of my work if you all are interisted. I went to college for art and studied for 5 years as a painter and printmaker. These days I do Scrim-shaw, pen&ink, carvings, knife making, water colors and I am a art conservator working with artifacts and old oil painting.

I know we have one artist at least, but I'll let Black Wolf speak for himself. If he can be talked into posting some pics we'll be in for a treat.

Dave,
I would Looooove to see some of your stuff!
I defenitely feel blessed by God with artistic talent. There really isn't much I can't create with my hands be it painting, drawing, sculpting, wood working or laying down a rythem on my drums ;) I love my gift....but unfortunately I'm a perfectioniist and rarely complete my paintings and it's something I have been praying about and working on trying to change.
I only have a couple of pictures I have on my computer right now of examples of my wood art. God does most of the work...and I just piece them together. I'll have to try and resize them tomorrow...their too big right now to post.
Hey Mike...thanks for the encouragment! ;)
Ray ;)

Black Wolf, sounds like you have the same gift. It's nice to beable to pic up any medium and creat something. I have ADHD and untill I was diginosed 5 years ago I was spastic in my working or creating. To many projects to concentrait on one. Now with med's I can start and finish each one. One of the reason I love to creat with Pen&ink while in church , I usualy will finish a pic in 2 settings. The pastor loves my work and forum of worship, as to unto the Lord I do return my gift buy drawing unto Him. I get a strong sence of His presents while drawing it's hard to explain but their is a great peace while I am drawing in church.

Furniture. Rather than launch into a poorly taken attempt to describe it I hope Black Wolf will post an image of one of his creations.

I make my living as an artist.
I am a metal engraver. I work mostly on handmade knives, guns, hand made fountain pens and fly rods. Here are a couple pics of my work. The first is a titanium fountain pen barrel I did for David Broadwell on a pen he made. The theme was Posiedon. Its got a little gold inlay in it.
The second is a pair of knives I gold inlaid and engraved for a customer. Antonio Foggarizu of Italy made the knives.
If I ever learn to make a bow I would like to incorporate engraving on some of the metal fittings on a bow. I see engraving on guns and knives all the time but Ihave never seen it done on a bow. Would make a darn good looking bow.
God bless,
Ray

Thanks guys,
I really am fortunate. God has blessed me with an ability but even more the opportunity to make a living doing what I love to do.
I am not wealthy but I am rich. I get up, take my shower, walk down the stairs to my studio in the basement and go to work. My wife teaches so I get to be around her and the kids a lot during the summer and holidays. It doesn't get much better than that.

Phil,
I don't mind at all. Just tell folks where they came from if ask.
I feel honored you liked them enough to use them.
