I have a Hoyt Gamegetter 2 compound for the riser. What needs to be done to the limb pockets / what do I need to do from start to finish? TIA.

I have never done a Hoyt. Send Bill Coulter a PM and ask him about his Provantage he did some time back. As I remember, he did a great job for a great looking and shooting Bow.

Depends on whether you want to use the ILF connection or bolt down the limbs. ILF will give you a bit of adjustability and is a little more complicated to convert to. Bolt down gives you little or no adjustability and is pretty easy. Read the "classics" section and do some searches - both conversions have been well-documented.
Here's a pic of three risers: a Gamegetter that's being converted, another TD3 riser that uses bolt-down method, and a 16" ProMedalist. The pictured Gamegetter uses a 20" TD3 riser and has a plastic grip. The compound hardware has been removed and a 1/4-20 hole has been drilled/tapped in the limb alignment slot in each pocket. When I get around to it, I'll duplicate the wedges that you can see in the pocket of the middle riser by using some bondo. As you can see, bolt-down conversion is pretty straightforward. The ILF conversion is covered under "warf".
Sorry, it won't attach the image - will try again momentarily.
