My boys love to shoot clay birds, and they are pretty decent at it. My 6 year old shot his first ones this past summer. He is small for his age and so I provide the "shoulder"

Then, he returns the favor!

While his 10 year old brother pulls for us.

The older boys rarely miss at this game, whether using their own single shot .20 gauge Rossi's, or my .870 express .12 gauge!

At the end of the day, they love to collect missed birds that survive the fall. Although they hit a lot more than they miss, it seems the fields are often full of missed birds from other shooters...

If you have any trouble looking at the pictures in my thread, you can visit my picture album, SHOTGUNNING (http://www.tradtalk.com/forums/album.php?albumid=29).

Of all the gun skills, wing shooting is the one that I never mastered. Probably some connection there to my in-ability to shoot a bow "instinctively".

Great pictures Mike, and great kids!
