Well before I get kicked off this site for my views in the Watering Hole I figured I better ask some Questions. I have a BB Riser that I want to Quarf.
1. What are people using to trim the Quinn Stallion Limb butts to fit in the riser? Saw, file, sander, etc.
2. Are people applying a protective finish to the cut area?
3. Are people putting a backing plate between the riser and limb such as plastic, cork, etc.
4. If I use Quinn shorts for a 60” bow will a string for an AMO 62” bow fit the Quarf?
Thanks for all the help. Pictures of limb pockets, limbs, etc. would be greatly appreciated. I may just need to order some limbs and experiment, but I would prefer not to butcher them.
I have tried to search back posts and threads and haven’t been able to find Bob Gordon’s Build along that Hank posted in 2005.
