It is just a process of elimination. Tune the arrow and rest to the bow.
If you are shooting left, move the pin to the left / if right, move pin to the right
If you are shooting low, lower the pins / if high, raise them

And :shooting: away

Where do i start.
Have you tuned the bow yet?
What sight are you using?
Do you shoot off fingers?
Seriously, there's so much to tuning and sighting in a compound. Bareshaft tuning, paper tuning etc. The actual setting of the pins is a relativley easy part of it.
Take my advice and spend a few dollars on Lary Wise's book "Tuning your Compound Bow" Its only a small book, but it tells you all you need to know and is written in a plain and simple way that we can all understand.
I shot compound for many years and my dog eared copy always sat in the bottom of my bow case.

Easton also has some very good tuning information by going to their web site.
Arrow selection charts and tuning tips can be found there. For more hands on try going to an archery club if there is one in your area. I am sure there will be plenty of experianced shooters that would be glad to help.

Lots of folks here walk both sides of the fence. All youd have to do is ask, and Ill bet dollars to donuts theyd be more help than what youd want. LOL. Good luck with it.

Once tuned move the pin which ever way you are hitting. Shoot low move the pin low etc.

Sounds like a trick question to me ;)

Is that "compound" bow a Penobscot reproduction or hybrid? ;)

Even if it's not...I and a few others here would be willing to help you out.

I love this board and the people on it!!! A few days ago, a compound fingers shooter posted on the leatherwall asking for advice, figuring trad shooters would best be able to help him. A fair number of responders flamed him for either shooting a compound or for having the temerity to post on their board.
On the other hand, people here get treated with respect and get the help they need.
