Would any of my TradTalk friends be interested in a TradTalk bowhunt? What we hunt is not as important to me as the opportunity for us to spend some time together and get to know each other a little better. If you like the idea of a TradTalk bowhunt what type of hunt would interest you?
Thanks,
Garry
I'll bet the interest is here, I know it is for me. The issue is travel, location, timing, etc. I'm curious to hear from others. Sounds interesting.

I also posted this idea on the issues and suggestion forum and Richard replied that a member who runs a hog hunt would be willing to give us a group discount. Richard is going to dig up the details.

Our CBA Chapter, Lord of the Harvest Archery Club, hosts a deer hunt in southern Ohio every year. This will be our 13th year. You can read about it @ www.lothac.com
I've been praying, ever since joining this site, that some from here could attend.
It wouldn't be as exclusive as a "Tradtalk" only hunt, but I would personally guarantee a great time of fellowship & food.
We do have a "group" rate. Group of 5 registering together & staying in 1 cabin = 4 paid, 5th one is free (or cost of 4 spread over 5 guys)
Cost is $175 for the week. That includes everything (lodging & 3 squares a day) but your license. By the day pricing is also available.
Dates for this year are October 28 - November 5.

I might add that we were able to move the hunt back a week this year which should put us into the rut.

My fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, I have attended the CBA hunt a few times that Camp Cook is speaking of and it is a great Christian happening, a lot of great hunting, great food and great Christian fellowship believe me.

I would be interested in some kind of hog hunt that would probably be the cheapest way to go.

Hey Dave,
Thanks for the endorsement. We learn more & more each year & God keeps blessing so we continue. It is a pretty big undertaking for our small group but we sure do enjoy taking care of everyone. The whole endeavor is managed on a very tight shoestring budget, but we have never had anyone complain that they didn't get more then they thought would for the cost. :)
Hope your health will let you come back again.

Health is somewhat better not great as yet, I hope to be able to come up for a couple of days but we will see how my health is doing at that time. I will keep your club in my prayers that you may continue on with this hunt and help bring more people to our LORD.
In HIS service
Dave
