Hi folks,
this is my first warf bow, named it a "Warther" (warf/ panther), sort of sounds like 'Walther' like the pistol. And all I can say, this thing rocks!
Light, quiet, super smooth, compact, quick and deadly accurate.

The riser is from an old Bear Black Panther compound bow.
I had 'SLR' AKA Chuck from the group do me up some of his ILF plates for an easy fit to the pockets on this thing.
BIG THANKS CHUCK!!
The pockets aren't a solid base, more a 'T' platform. Worked out very well.
With the grip I siliconed on a nice piece of leather for a more comfortable feel.
And it is indeed very nice now.
I stuck to what I like, a Free Flyte rest, not worrying about a plunger at this stage as my 7595's tuned in really nicely with the 51-52# I'm pulling @ 29.5" DL.
I shoot split fingered and set my knock point at about 1/2" over centre. The Hunter shafts with 4" dura vanes which I helicoil shoot like darts as I find with all my bows setup like this on the Freeflyte rests.

My brace height is a little low for what I'm use to @ around 7 5/8 but I can definitely live with this since I have no dramas with string slap on the fore arm.
Out shoots the Jackal recurve I have, this thing is a boat anchor compared to the light weight of the "Warther".

Bow details:
21" BBP riser
Hoyt carbon plus shorts 44# (add 4# + aprox 3-4# for DL over 28"). Limbs were painted and look a little... rustic. I'll add some brown and black paint to camo them. Making 62" amo.
Fast flight string.
Terminater/ Hunter XT's 7595's @ 30 1/8".

Yep I know, far from bare bow like most of you guys, but hey, I feel comfortable with all the gear on board. Compound bow stuff is hard to break from.
Maybe I'll try my Quinns stallion for bare bow practice. Just hate loosing arrows to the wilds though. The Jackal will be last on the bow grabbing list now.

Any way here's a link to a couple of pics of my new hunting rig.

As you can see, my mate Moses the curly coated retriever is always on the job. He got dem devil eyes that dorg.
