View Full Version : short warfable risers?

At several tournaments in Germany, where I live, a hunting recurve is defined as being no longer than 60". So to get a smooth draw (= long limbs) you ought to use a riser that is as short as possible.
The ubiquitous Black Bear is a bit too long.
Is there a shorter, better riser around (and yes, I know about the TradTech Titan)?

Would be glad to hear of any short, warf-able compound riser or whatever.
Thanks!

Yes, the Darton 50MXR you can pick one up on eBay. I hope this helps.

Thanks a lot. I'll look for one.
Any difference between the MX and the MXR?

Other risers?

Those short #50 Darton compound risers have a pretty flat pocket angle and with much of a draw length will result in a bow that stacks pretty bad and rather highly stressed limbs...warf

Geometry is all...
But the Tradtech works with short limbs, doesn't it?
Or is there a source for complete ILF limb pockets somewhere?
