I have a black bear riser that I plan to turn into a Quarf useing stallion limbs. What I need to know is #1 What size llimbs do I need to make a 62" bow?? And #2 What pondage limbs will I need to get around 50-55#'s Please any input is helpful.
The trial and error method could get very expensive. :)

Short Quinn Stallion limbs will give you close to the bow length you want. You will loose about 8-9 lbs weight over what the limbs are marked at. If you want a 50 lb bow you will need 58-60 lb Stallion limbs. You also will need to shorten the limb butts about 1/4" to fit the Black Bear pockets or open up the back of the pockets with a Dremel tool so the stock limbs will fit. Measure carefully where to drill the alignment pin hole in the pocket floor, it has to be perfect so do it right and you will end up with a fine shooting fast recurve...warf
