I shoot a Martin Hatfield recurve. It's a great bow and I'd like to pick up some different limbs for it. The current limbs are 45#. New limbs would run about $300. It seems used 55# limbs are rarer than hen's teeth.
Are there any other manufacturers limbs that can be made to fit up to my bow?
Is something like this commonly done?

Just wondering here; are there any readily obtainable limbs that can be modified to fit the Martin Hatfield Riser?

I've got two Martin Hatfields and four sets of limbs. I don't have 55 lb but do have a set of 60 lb limbs I may part with. Are your limbs alingment set with two pins or the orginal style with two ball bearings?

I think the 60# may be too much. I have the newer setup. Two alignment pins.

Chuck, take a look on ebay for some PSE recurve limbs. I seem to recall seeing some limbs for PSE's Talon and Spirit recurves. Maybe they would work after a few alterations? :sbrug:

Thanks for the reply Dave. I wonder how close a fit PSE limbs would be to the Hatfield. Has anyone else looked into this?
