EH, I suppose it could be done. But unless you're set up to make them, it would be far less $$$$ to just purchase a set of Oly's. I also don't think they would shoot as well either. But I've made only 1 set so I don't have the experience to say for sure. The only bright spot is they would be Traditional. :)

Thanks Donk....I'm just trying to figger the cheapest way to set up a warf. being poor sure is a drag! heck I can't even find a riser yet...every one I bid on in ebay..somebody always snatches it away at the last minute for far more than I want to pay...oh well! :sbrug:

I have made two of them, one is on a Black Bear ,the other is on a Hoyt Gamegetter, the both shoot realy well.i am now trying to make a Warf with ILF Limbs,I hope it will shoot even better.

I've built my own from the binghams form and they work reasonably well but unless you know someone who has the form it's more expensive then ilf limbs. But you can do what I've done and find a cheep one piece bow and cut the limbs off it and make them work as limbs for your takedown.
Here's some pics of the limbs and bow.

Easternhunter,
I can relate to being poor. I did just the opposite, I invested in the best ILF limbs I could afford and built a wood riser. I just finished my prototype. It was not as difficult as I thought it would be. I will try and post some pics soon. There is nothing wrong with being poor it's just so inconvient.LOL

I would second Benbow...actually, he inspired me. I bought an older one-piece recurve, cut the limbs from the riser, fit them to the warf riser (Jennings Lightening) and fired away. Great bow, pulls 45# very smoothly and quietly. Investment? About $20 for the recurve, and a couple of hours fitting the limbs. Using it to bullseye a target...

priceless! (but cheap).

Good luck

Greg
