Got the first half of the limb in the prestress form. I'm using BowGrip 100 for the glue as it doesn't need to be heat cured. It's a lot thinner than smoothon and goes on alot easier. I won't have time to do any more till late tomorrow night when I'll take it out of the form. We're leaving for our kids camp on Friday so don't know if I'll get one limb completed by then. Think I'll just glue up the other half limb in the prestress form then make the wedges and glue up the limbs when I get back. HOPE THIS WORKS OK!!!

How did it turn out? I'm very interested in building a laminated bow w/o a heat box.

Well the BowGrip 100 didn't work out. It appears that the glue itself sheared between the wood and the glass. I went back to SmoothOn and left the limb in the form in the attic of my garage. Ended up with a good solid limb. But the way I built my form caused the portion of the limb that attaches to the riser to not be flat. Will have to rebuild the form but it will be awhile before I can get back at it as I'm in the process of moving to New Mexico.

maybe to much pressure on the bowgrip 100?
