Well, I shot a 241 this afternoon with my hunting rig. 54, 55 lbs., DAS, SRF, 2016's w/ 100 grain tips, etc.

This beats my previous high of 235 and breaks 240 for the first time. Looking at a few pictures of my results I wonder if I shouldn't keep track of my fliers. Maybe one arrow is "flying" more than the others. Usually I can identify a mistake right off - collapse, pluck, flinch, peeking, etc. But still...

After all, I numbered them for a reason. I just forget to keep track. This was after 2 practice ends mostly to adjust the SRF. Then back to back shooting with no rests.

The last group pictured is my final end (bottom right). I mainly took that picture for Viper!

Mike -

Congrats, nicely done.

The next step is to recognize a problem BEFORE if happens and NOT take the shot. If something, ANYTHING doesn't feel right, no matter how small, break down and restart. Harder than it sounds, when your ego is saying shoot, Shoot, SHOOT!!!

Congrats again!

Viper out.

Terrific shooting! You're right, it'll be interesting to see if that one flier in each photo turns out to be the same arrow.

Quick noob question -- at what yardage are you shooting these 300's?

MPC,

I'm sorry for the delayed response...

I was shooting at 20 yards. 12 "ends" of 5 arrows. 60 total arrows times a maximum possible score of 5 points each = 300 possible points.

Hey Mike,
Which SRF sight are you using?
