I received my Bob Gordon warfed Proline riser last Friday, and I'm in the set-up process. I'm using Samick universal carbon limbs, 36# at 70", a cavalier t-300 rest, with a Cartel super plunger. The stabilizer is one I had on hand, and for now it's working. The bow needs limbsavers, and a steady hand. I'm working on both. With the limb bolts tight, the bow draws 43" @ 28". I backed the bolts out 2 turns apiece, and the bow dropped about 2#. I'm a bit uncertain if there's enough cut away to use the plunger properly, we'll see. The first few flights were fine, very stable. The next day I took the stabilizer off, cuz the bow was pretty heavy, and my shooting was all over the target. Next day, stabilizer back on, I started to settle back down, We'll give it a week or so...Fun so far! ButchD

Hi DRT,
It's my first time with ILF limbs of any kind, so I don't have much of a reference. The bow is a bit loud, I have some limbsavers on order, and wil install string silencers. The bow is 66". I have gravitated towards longer bows, since my first 62" Ben Pearson. I'm going to post in the general forum about limbs on the Proline. ButchD

I didn't know that you could get a 66" bow with that riser ?

Hi DRT,
I went back and checked the bow length. 66", 62" string. That's what BobG had told me it would be. Are you also shooting a Warf? What riser? How's the tuning going? ButchD

I have a hoyt td-3 warf with long 38# KAP carbons (65" I believe). I draw 28-29" and have it set someplace in the low 40's @ 28" . I'm shooting 29" carbon express whitetail arrows 30-50's ( 500 spine ) with 100 grain field points . It was very easy to tune these arrows by setting my plunger to the middle position and adjusting the limb bolts until the bare shafts grouped with the fletched ones .
