The new forum offers a ton of new features and you have the ability to customize the layout to your own preferences. We'll add new layout options as we can to let you have a new look and feel whenever you'd like. :)
If you don't already see the content from the old forum, we will soon be importing it, so stay tuned. We hope you like the new home of TradTalk and think you'll enjoy the enhanced functionality and performance we now have.

There are a lot of new features in this site including the option to change the look and feel of it. You'll find that option at the bottom of the page. We're not officially "live" here yet, but will be soon. I think this will grow on you!

Did you check out the layout options? I installed the Dunes Applied because I thought it looked great. You can find the options in the bottom most left hand part of the screen in a drop-down box.
We're still hoping we can get a full import from our EVE platform, but it's hard to tell at this point. An awful lot of hours have been spent trying that and so far, no success.

Just tried it. BTW, if you don't import everyone's seniority, some of us new guys are going to feel like old timers!!
I'm sure you're relieved to have this move under way at last.

I was hoping it would be more transparent, but it had to be done and the sooner the better. This should resolve people's browser problems, response time, uptime and allow for much more fluid growth, scalability and most of all, portability. We were essentially held hostage by our hosts and it became an untenable situation.

Would you mind posting instructions on the avatar. It probably should be self explanatory, but I may be slow. Thanks.

Among the options that should be available to you is the option to set or change your avatar. You can upload it or just point to a link somewhere else on the internet.
If you don't have that option, let me know and I'll take time to investigate permissions.

Try again. I've assigned charter member status to everyone who's signed up already and will try to make sure everyone who's aboard within the next few days gets the permissions settings to go along with it. :)

Howdy,
Congratulations and good luck with this new board PB!!!
I haven't checked out all the bells and whistles yet but I sure like the speed ... even though my 'mouse' doesn't have a metal riser ;o). I hope the slowness stays on the old board.

Very nice... thanks for the hard work there Robert and Lewis... vBulletin is a good one.
Now how the heck did Viper get his avatar inserted? I have no options to make an avatar. There's only one radio button there and it doesn't do anything. When I click Edit, it does nothing as well. :(

Ohhh-no... don't do it PB! That DAS guy is here to corrupt the metal-heads even further than they already are.
It's ruination I tell ya, just ruination. LOL :D
Pinelander,
LOL! Corruption is a relative thing, would you agree??

Robert, it keeps saying my image is to large. I have opened it with paint and have gotten it down itty bitty. Help.

we have limited the pixel count in order to keep from overflowing the database with a plethora of oversized images.
You can use www.myimaging.com to resize the picture. "Size" is actually the byte count rather than the physical size you see on the screen - so resolution and dimensions are both important.
Let me know if you have any more questions and I'll be glad to help.
